ok so I just finished watching Boondock Saints (great movie) and you will never guess what I saw!

the title of this thread! LOL I would never have guessed that our fair threads title came from that movie! LOL or was it just a wicked coincidence?

aahhh. ok, that is why it was only slightly familiar, and also explains why it was written on the door in Boondock Saints. LOL Thanks Jon.

Wow, two weeks. That's bad... Hubby came home November 4th, and we've just been trying to catch up ever since. The kids are good and healthy. We had a yummy thanksgiving feast, and it was mostly a grateful day. How is everyone else doing?

doing good here. we had two thanksgiving meals. we were so stuffed we really didn't feel like eating on Friday!
I was in an accident a week ago yesterday. totaled my little Honda Accord. some bloke rear-ended me :( good thing he has insurance! now I am seeing a chiropractor for the whiplash.

Mon my research paper is due, so I'm kinda trying to make it a little longer! it is about half as long as it's supposed to be.

OK, question for you all, what has worked for you to get out of photography funks? I take pictures of touring houses, and snapshots of my kids for important stuff. Otherwise I just have NO desire to shoot. I'm thinking of getting out my macro filters, but there's nothing that's not gray and muck and nasty since we're out of snow now, and that's not at all inspiring to me.

I think we've got a pandemic on our hands. The last time I did any photography was July. However, the weather around here has been overcast and rainy for about 2 weeks. To make it worse, I've got more time that I COULD devote to shooting because it has slowed waaaay down at work so my hours were reduced.

I've been meaning to get around to my videos and finally download my North Carolina trip but before I do I need to clear space off my hard drive. Does anyone know why I can't download directly to my Western Digital portable hard drives? iMovie keeps quitting when I try to do that in order to bypass my computer's hard drive

What program are you using to d/l? Try using Zoom/Image Browser, or use a card reader and just drag them across.

And take a run up to Conowingo - I was there Sunday and there were easily over 50 Bald Eagles all over the place. Must have been a dozen in the trees behind the parking area at Fisherman's Park, another 10-11 on one of the towers and many more on the other side. Plus scads of Great Blue Herons. That should get you shooting.
