I'm Back... kinda! lol at least I decided to take a second and say Hello to ya'lls

Thanksgiving 'Holiday' was good, had the obligatory visit to the extended inlaws... it was fun except the 'family portrait' Uhhg! just wait until I send them the bull MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHaaa :)

Black Friday my wife and I put together the Lego truck that she had gotten me/us for our 2nd anniversary :) I of course had to do a Time-lapse... I am not really happy with the results but if you want to see it.... LINKY-LINKY (external link)(also embedded in my blog (external link))

oh yeah and does anybody know good free software for making timelapse movies? I HATE that windows movie maker excrement! YUCK!

I've been super super busy at work! and we are going on vacation in a week to go see my SIL and her husband. we are both looking forward to that!

I got 4 new memory cards 1 Lexar 4gb on rebate and 3 Sandisk Extreme III's on rebate :) dirt cheep and I like the 4GB size...

well... time for me to head to bed. I just wanted to make sure you folks didn't worry 'bout me ;)

yeah hahaha I have tried to keep up a little LOL but yeah...

If I am bored on vacation next week (doubtful) then I'll get on here more.

this morning was exciting... had the clutch die in our car... and the other car was in the shop LOL so I had to get it towed to the shop and luckily the other car was done and I could just switch cars. LOL fun times!

Very cool time lapse Z. Like the song you put with it. Looks like the engine was missing the heads. I think the pistons were just showing in the block.

Ick. I don't think I've figured out what you do yet....so, what do you do?:p

Forgot to add that I am also the unofficial staff photog. I get to take all the exciting photos of base stations, wiring harness, and the real sexy ones, the circuit boards themselves. OOOHHhhh... Just talking about seeing the inside of a cellular base station makes me all atwitter.

Ok, so I take the pics for the customer manuals, training materials, and field notes for the installers. It's actually the most fun part of my job. I get to shoot about once a week or so.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Awesome video, great song as well. I actually use my Nikon 8700 for time lapse movies. It's real simple to set up and puts the movie together automagically.

Your first description reminds me a bit of what my brother does in HI, but I believe his specialty is in VoIP?? Idk.

I like the sepia better.
Abbie I sent you an IM with a link for you.
I went from having a decent mental day to having a really bad one in a matter of minutes earlier. My daughters teacher(and husband's former teacher twice over, 2nd and 5th) son had cancer and was in remission and was in treatment for some of the meds that he had to take during Chemo which brought on another illness passed away yesterday. He was only a sophomore in high school. I just can't imagine. It threw me into a super funk.
However the husband is officially a tow truck driver/fleet mechanic as of tomorrow at 8am. Winter/snow+moron drivers+tow trucking commission=nice money

Chet it's cute. I think the group photo looks out of place since it's not nearly as bright as the flower photos. Maybe it's just me though.

The doc actually prescribed full spectrum lights. Tanning beds are UV only and don't help metabolizing vit D. I've actually found that spending an hour a day outside in the sun works best so around lunch time I go take a walk. Trouble is that Chicago can be totally cloudy and grey for weeks on end.

they help me when I can afford it and find the time. That and I kinda like not glowing in the dark
