C 17 In Southerly

Here is a C17 landing at Christchurch yesterday in the middle of a Southerly change ( wind 150 degrees 15-25 gusting 38 Knots) coming back from the Antarctic. Cheers Barry

not knowing the runway heading there, i'm going to assume they've got a crosswind...
(hence your wind info) it was always a rush doing that in a C172, can't imagine doing it in a c17!!

Runway heading is 200 degrees and yes its also a rush doing it in a Piper Cherokee,had to last week.
