I wasn't sure if the price was right and had a salesman check. Sure enough!! Its currently on sale at $65. Not sure if it's for everyone abroad, but I got mine at the Lynnwood, WA one just now.

Just be sure you get a good one and dont need to return stuff cause I heard Circuit City is going out of business.

I wanted to try and get one of these and use the Lexar rebate, but I decided not to. Circuit City is not on Lexar's list of approved retailers for the rebate. I didn't want to risk it and have them refuse my rebate.

I decided to purchase the 4 GB UDMA Lexar (external link) cards from 17th Street Photo for $64.89 and I found a Lexar MIR for $70 (external link), so they end up FREE.

The rebate for $40 will work for these cards. I called the rebate center and verified.

how long ago was this? Is it still valid even with the newer version out?

I just bought them yesterday. I am hoping it is still valid. The old rebate form says it is valid 11/1/08-1/15/09. I'm not sure how they could say it isn't valid, as long as I followed the 4 conditions they list.

They cancelled that rebate on 11-6-08. It is no longer valid, I've checked. The new, lower rebate amount is the valid one.

You will not get the rebate

I bought the 8GB 300x from Adorama on 11/09 and it came with the $80 MIR form. Also called the rebate company and they verified the MIR as valid for this purchase.

Hmmmm.... either way, I'd bet that Kerry won't get a rebate check. They have a lesser rebate going on now. Lexar must have told me the wrong date that they canceled the other one.

I hope you get yours Tsmith.

Derek have you seen or know where the info is on the $80 MIR being actually canceled? Pricegrabber.com still brings up the this one.

Hmmmmm...... I'm not sure now. I just called Lexar again, and the guy I talked to acted like he didn't know anything about any of the rebates. He asked what date the form had on it and I told him 1/15/09, and he said "well it must still be good then".

I'd be very leary. I think I'll send an email to lexar and get something in writing.

The 133x cards have pretty much that same deal going now. I'm gonna get some of those.

If the UDMA cards can still get it, I'll be getting 3 of them instead of the 133x cards. The only problem is that most online dealer have put their prices way up again, meaning that they'll cost $30-40 after rebate now.

I don't have a Circuit City near me either.
