i have the 1d markIII with 35L and 70-200 2.8L

the zoom is ok....for the 35L i don't know what to do...

the lens is ok, and i like so much play with the 35L in low light situation (pub, indoor and outdoor shots)

but in febbrary i 'll be in canada for a 14een day ski-trip...

i don't know if is better to sell the 35L for a WA zoom or not...like 16-35 or 17-40...for landscape...

i can't buy another lens without sell the 35L....cause, at the moment i don't have the money...

and also because i'll buy a 580exII cause i don't have a flash....

so what i have to do in your opinion???

1) keep the 35L and only buy the 580exII
2)sell the 35L and buy a 16-35(or 17-40) and a 580exII

Get the zoom and flash. 16/17mm could be pretty handy in the mountains. Don't forget to post some pics whren you get back.

I have both the 16-35 and the 35L - my 16-35 gets far more use than my 35L - so I recommend it and the 580EXII

17-40 + flash is a great combo on a 1d...I use it quite a lot for events and landscape...

wait for flash and buy a 17-40...or one of the 12-24 sigma/tokina

what do you think?
