Backup Program

I'm looking for a program that I can use to automatically back up files to another hard drive. I want to back up my Lightroom catalog once a day on another hard drive. It doesn't need to read a rewrite every file, just the files that have been changed. Does anyone know of any software that does this? Thanks.

If you're on a Mac with Leopard this is precisely what its Time Machine does (hourly).

If you're just looking to backup your Lightroom catalog data, then you can use LR's own backup features under Edit>Catalog Settings.

If you're looking for something to backup entire directories, I like Microsoft's free SyncToy. (Assuming of course you're on a PC).

Try a program called Second Copy... Cheap and also can create version archives.

Far more intuitive than SyncToy. It's also pretty cheap bit of software.

I downloaded Second Copy and it is running right now and I have it scheduled to run. I'll try it out and probably end up buying it. Thanks for the info, it is exactly what I was looking for!

I've been using second copy for years. It works great.

Acronis True Image. It does incremental backups, which means each backup you do, you can choose to only back up new files. It saves a ton of time.
