Well this is the observatory I use frequently..we have 3 telescopes in there, pretty cool. one has a digital back on it. Anyways, here is one with just the stars, and Venus i believe... then another with the ISS going over before it went into Earth's shadow

Oh shot with a 24mm 3.5L TSE and 5D...strange combo for this..i know...

what'd you think?

What do I think? I think I wish I had access to an observatory, that's what! What size scopes are in there?

As for the bright object, when were the images taken? If they were in the last few days, (around 10:30pm?), then I think that's Jupiter...Venus would be just behind the dome, and even brighter than Jupiter.


Canon EOS 450D, Sigma 18-200mm, Canon 50mm f/2.5 Macro, 2x TC, Revelation 12" f/5 Dobsonian, Mintron PD2285-EX webcam.

Taken at about 6:15.... We have 3 telescopes on a equatorial mount..all computer controlled..one with the digital back..one with a scope to look..and then a sun telescope

Wow, nice observatory.

That would look great in my desert southwest(mag 8 skies) home that I don't have yet. :D
