I like number 1. The lighting and surf add drama

I went to the lighthosue today, but got there mid morning. Sun high in the sky and no surf. I was planning on returning in the afternoon after enjoying lunch at Grittys in Freeport and a stop at Beans, but light changed. Clouds began to roll in, lots of flat light. So, heading back another day.

I prefer the composition in the 1st but find the bright areas on the lighthouse distracting.

I really like them both, but the first one is just fabulous! I love the drama of the movement at the bottom, the dramatic sky, and the end of day lighting on the lighthouse. Wow. I wish there was something like that near me!
