Hi, could you please take a look and let me know what you think of the composition and PP. I did not do much PP except to try to correct the lens distortion. It still seems to look a little slanted to me. Perhaps someone can give it a try and let me know what were your settings.

Thanks!

Best if you post the original too. I think you are right; it looks a little slanted on the left side.

Looks slanted left to me. Should be a simple correction in ACR or Photoshop.

In Photoshop I rotated about 1.0° CW.

Corrected? I used Edit>Tranform>Skew

But it's also awfully early in the morning for my eyes...

Judging by the original image, the distortion is not a lens problem, per se. Rather, the distortion was caused by not holding the LOS (line of sight) of the camera level. The camera was tilted upwards slightly which makes the image want to converge at the top. The fix is to keep the camera level for shots such as this and then crop to the desired composition. With a wide angle lens, there may still be some barrel or pinchussion distortion, but with a good lens it is usually not objectionable.

Yeah, same here - the right looks tilted; but Dave fixed it anyway.

A pixel peeper would be able to see the tilt on the left, but it is not nearly as much as on the right.

Yeah, same here - the right looks tilted; but Dave fixed it anyway.

The reason that the convergence is not symmetrical is that the camera has a slight clockwise roll angle about the LOS axis in addition to the slight positive pitch angle of the LOS axis.

You must be a pilot. Thanks for the explanation. But does the last edit look OK to you?

I'm not a pixel peeper, but the left tilt is what I saw first... maybe it's reading left to right... but even so, I notice it more overall despite the degree of tilt on the right is more

Shows that bad, huh? I'm trying to reform -- and no longer fly due to health reasons. I guess that once an airplane drive ... always an airplane driver ... and still hang out with others of my ilk.

Yes, I do like the last edit. I was remiss in not mentioning that.

I was mostly referring to myself as the "pixel peeper" -- it is probably an occupational hazard of being an engineer. I have been diagnosed as having incurable chronic pixel peeping syndrome.
