Jeez! You people sure don't make it easy for me. Outstanding entries for this comp. I had to go back and forth on these to come up with the finalists. Here we go:
HM: Mikerault, Happy Bug~ Nice macro Mike. I like the separation and DOF dropoff. Why is he happy though? He's got a dent in his eye...

3rd Place: SeattleSpeedster, Untitled~ This whole image is pure bokeh; creamy throughout. My only critique is that I wish it had a bit more definition on the focal point to make it more dramatic. Very nice work Mike. I've been looking at your stuff on the 85L thread. Keep playing with those tubes!

2nd Place:Monty28428, Untitled~ Superb separation (the hawk and fish are tack sharp), and the bokeh very creamy indeed. I keep looking at it and it seems to be in 3D. Monty your wildlife shots continue to amaze me

1st Place and Champion: airbutchie, Untitled~ This is the image that I kept going back to. That background is so creamy that it looks like an old masters canvas. The subject is so simple yet it pops right at you. AB you did that 85L proud

Nice work every one and remember to keep those lenses wide open!
