Cut out and feathering... please help!

Hello everyone,

I have been working on this photo for HOURS and I'm getting nowhere...

I need the easiest and fastest way for me to cut out this guy and the artwork he's working on... do you have any ideas or suggestions? I'd like to feather it too so it doesn't look so horrible...
