Becky you did a great job with exposure on that!!

Thanks, but LR saved all these shots, I had to drag the exposure up at least one full stop and 100 on recovery on the window. I am so Curt's opposite when it comes to flash photography and I even remember to adjust the ISO to try and get that histogram over to the right. :|

You should've psssst him and motioned for him to close the shutters

Nice print...your inlaws look very proud.

:lol:My FIL was sitting next to me and told me to go shut those shutters, I'm not sure the guards would have appreciated me walking into the court area to do that.

Looks good, Bucky!

Not too bad given the conditions. Nice shot of Curt with his parents.

Thank you, all.

I used to have a schwack of old Mad magazines from the early 70's, and the got chucked out when I left home.

I loved Mad when growing up....#1 the little cartoonettes in the margins on several pages, #2 tri-folding the back cover to see the hidden picture, and #3 Spy vs Spy.

oh lol! now Pacha is in the middle of the tree, trying to fall asleep. He did a face plant into the branches and must have poked his eye because he started spitting and yowling...and then he moved to the top again. Honestly this is cracking me up.

Do you have a video camera? You should be filming this.

This is one of the reasons I want the 5D MkII, for the video. I know many scoff at it, but I am willing to try it. Besides, it should be a good camera regardless.

It's got some very good reviews so far. Some of the best I've read concerning a new canon release. Hopefully it'll stay that way.

and I have the G9 and I believe it does video. I've never used it though. I'm not even sure how to view video on my computer.

I have all of the old Mad magazines (up to about five years ago) on CD. I bought the whole collection. I wonder if they've updated it to include the new issues they've published since this was released.

have you seen Calpyso from last year?

That's one of my favorite pictures. It really should be a greeting card.

You have to watch this. Start the video on the right side. You only have to watch the first 20 seconds.

I think they look forward to the tree more than my kids ever did.

I read hundreds of those too, more good stuff.

Oh heck yeah. I don't know whatever happened to my copies of Cartoons....I would give my brother the Mad and Cracked. I was browsing through the link for Cartoons I put in my post and was reminiscing at the covers and remembering which ones I had :D *sigh* To be a kid again.

I loved playing Spy vs Spy on the Nintendo...and got into it because of Mad. Now, there is Spy vs Spy for the Wii....I saw it at Best Buy last weekend. I may have to look into a used copy of that one.
