I got to get my butt out to Jellystone one of these days.
It's well worth it IMHO. My photos sucked because I didn't get to wait for lighting but just seeing it was amazing.
Nice picture. The amount of damage is still so visible from the great fire of 88. I was amazed at the amount of area that is covered in 10' tall pines when we were there in September. It will be recovering for another 20 years.
Thanks. There are SO many fallen trees there it's unbelievable. That's nature though and I think it's beautiful, charred and otherwise.
i love looking through the book entries & seeing people's best. It gives me so many new ideas and makes me want to go out and shoot more!!
I am in the n&l catagory now and I have a question. How do you shoot rain? i saw it on entry #37 (#34 in the gallery) in nature & landscape

You shoot for 15+ minutes or you do what many do in well lit areas and you stack the images... you take 30sec exposures and combine them with a program.
