I borrowed my wedding dress from a friend of a friend.

Oh, and I'm ashamed to admit, that the thought of hiring a photographer never even crossed my mind. LOL

No photographers were paid at the shooting of either of my weddings

I didn't borrow a dress for either of my weddings. 1st one I just wore a dress that I had for going to church. 2nd wedding hubby and I wore our sweats and went to a little wedding chapel in Idaho. Both weddings together didn't cost more than a couple hundred.

how long does a client usually take to decide on an order for photos? I've heard nothing back from that senior shoot I did...they've had the proof link since the beginning of processing.

Bet, they won't order anything till after christmas.

There are some seriously talented photogs there. I've just started birding a little but am no where near some of those guys. Here is a little hummer I took this fall.

I was going to hit the sections with the least photos first, for my brain that seems easiest.

That's what I've done. I'm through all the smaller sections and just have the bigger ones left.

My mothers gown wouldn't fit anyone. She is a 4' 11" woman, who weighed 95lbs on her wedding day. I'm not much taller, but weighed about 110 at my first wedding, so it didn't fit me.

Well I don't really have much of a connection to those genre's of photography. When I come across those sections I just choose ones that jump out as high quality images... I didn't find a lot of images JUMPING out at me either or stirring any emotion. I only voted for 4 in each section.

Ouch. When that happens, search for your friends' photos (of which there are many in those sections)
