oh hey we did have some good news...the chip that we got in the windshield (the day we picked up Kona) did not spread (even though we've had freezing tempuratures) and Dan took it to the glass place today and they sealed it for $40 instead of having to replace it for $400. Nice.

Always the best bet, so long as one remembers to catch it in time. I usually end up putting it off until too late.

Good powers of observation Tiff, it's a cool shot!

Yes, the wrong side of the border...

I really like the two landscapes that you posted a few posts back. Landscape category was the one in which I had the most difficulty making choices... there were so many stunning scenes.

this post is bw!

My entries are all going down in flames. :( Some have only one vote, mine... It's just going to force me to try harder next time.

Mine too....I think one has more than 5 votes, but less than 10. All the others have 0, 1 or 2 votes. I didn't vote for any of my own shots.

Puck went back to the vet today. His intestines seem to be swollen, could be some sort or irritable bowel thing, could be an ulcer, could be cancer. Short of a sonogram (I thought she did one last time but she didn't) she gave him a cortisone shot to help with inflammation and increase his appetite, if he gets better we will do one every month or so. She guessed he will be OK for maybe a year...

Awww Puckster....give em a scritch for me. Hope he gets better.

I made the linky big so Permie doesn't miss it.

Hey cool, thanks Tif-fa-fa. I need to upload the textures I have to share sometime.

Okay, I'm very tired but we had a much more successful afternoon than morning. I can see him trying to understand what I mean...poor little guy...

these are the "successful" moments:

Me: "KONA STOP CHEWING ON THE CAT!"
He hears: Kona wahwahwahwahwah nom nom nom

Me: " Kona Come"
He hears: "Kona I'm gonna lavish you with petting if you'll run over here"

Me: "Kona go potty"
He hears: "Kona hurry up and tinkle because it's freezing out here and we should go inside"

:lol::lol:

I remember seeing that video before. I love how the snow looks like bugs bunny moving underground when the dog is moving in the snow.

Oh HEY..

I got that wedding book in today.

It is breathtakingly gorgeous. REALLY well done.

My stomach was in knots as I was opening up the box, hoping that it would meet my expectations.
It surpassed them.

Wow. Just wow.

Some dogs are a bit tentative at first. Very few don't end up loving it. But most I have even met just love it and go bonkers in it, diving in or at least running with their heads under the snow at times. Great fun to watch. :D

That video reminded me of a hike Ashley and I did near South Lake Tahoe. Well... Tried to do. A blizzard beat us to the area, so we had to put off the summit of Mount Tallac until several months later. As I trudged along on my snowshoes, she followed along behind me:

IMAGE: http://www.ldphotography.net/eeHikes/images/medium/20021218_14.jpg

A few minutes after I took that shot, she decided to jump ahead of me by going over the top of the snow drifts. She reared back and jumped at it, then disappeared into it, about two feet under the snow.

I hope so. :D

I was supposed to deliver it tonight, but I'm still sick (GRRR) so I called them and set up a time for tomorrow.

The bride's mother is the one who ordered it (even though the bride picked all the pictures for it). I want to be there when the mom sees it. I won't be there when the bride sees it though... she won't get it till Christmas morning.

Congrats on that Cat, after seeing your pages, I knew it would look great. :D
Hopefully it brings in some good income for you too, you deserve it, and will likely get more based on it.
Did you get a copy for yourself too, something to use for marketing to future customers?
