Just fine. Really. He's a doll, and I was sad to give him up, but ok with it. My girls will be getting some much needed over-attention for a little while. ;)

And yes, she put us on a permanent foster home list for short term care. *YAY*

I'm glad you are fine :) And I'm glad he's going to be okay and how fun...foster fur parents!

I couldn't figure out what the heck you was talkin' about, until I went back to my post. Yep, if I was going to screw up, 'fat' was definitely not the right word to use, bet Neil wanted to punch me. :p

Tupper was 36 pounds at his heaviest. That was four or five years ago. I haven't weighed him recently, but I know he's slimmed down a little since then.

Yikes! And I thought Marky was heavy at 18 pounds...

Visit your local animal shelter and get one for the price of a license and spay/neuter. Probably already housebroken as well!

If you go to a county or city shelter, you might even get a better deal. San Diego County has a policy of reducing adoption fees by 50% for senior citizens (over 60) wishing to adopt an animmal. When we got Buddy, they were going to waive half the fees because I'm 62. When the handler came out and told us the vet tech said Buddy was probably six or older, based on his dentition, the county wavied the other half of the fees (for an older dog). We got Buddy for nothing, although we were prepared to pay the full amount had they asked for it.

I was looking at my aquarium shots...from when I had a nice camera. I have probably 400 shots altogether from different aquariums and these are the only nice (or semi-nice) ones. It's very hard to get good shots at one.
