Neil, the news is terrible. :( I'm so sorry.

[rt] there's a lot of wooting happening around the forum today. I've never seen the word "woot" before.

[/random thought]

That reminds me:

this past Sunday during Mass, a couple was called forward to receive the traveling statue. After Father called their names, we all waited for a minute, and he looked around and said "Where are they?" then spotting them walking up the aisle, he said "Oh there they are.. woot".

Marian turned to Josh and said, "Did Father just say "woot" ? I thought they were going to have the giggle fits right there in church.

It's a beautiful statue that belongs to the church that goes to a different family in the parish every month. That family then keeps our parish in their family prayers for that month.
It's a very neat tradition.

Cool, I thought perhaps it went to a family that was traveling and I wondered how they packed it...

So I've been working SO hard on this wedding book. The designed pages need to be in before Dec 5th in order to receive the book by Christmas, which is what the client wants.

I've never used this publisher before, so I'm having to learn the software, and I spent 2 days just making a working template with guides and such in photoshop so that I could make my own layouts.

Gosh... my creativity sure is being tapped, LOL. And I'm only 8 pages into a 30 page book.

Doesn't the publisher have some templates you can use to make your life easier?

I'm saving them as PSDs (so I can adjust anything later if needed) and as jpgs.

And she doesn't want to see the pages before I have it printed. So I'm definitely going to have you guys do a quick proof for me.

Keep in mind that all the photos are ones that she picked, and she chose which ones to be large or full page, and which ones to be smaller and used in collage type pages.

Here's a sample:

The first page:

I still haven't heard from my last B&G which photos they want for their book. Not a word. I'm guessing I eventually will.
