I shoot in mixed lighting and it's hard to figure out the correct white balance sometimes. I don't want to shoot a grey card and then post process images in Photoshop. How many people out there use a color meter and what are your thoughts on it.

What you need to do is gel one of the light sources to match the color temp of the other. The color meter COULD help match colors of the sources when gelling the sources, though. Skip Douglas
