OK over the last few weeks I've been slowly adding keywords to photos in lightroom. It has made finding photos tremendously easier. but in the last few days I have been having a weird action I cannot explain or fix.
If I use the filter bar up top and I choose Attribute or Metadata I can filter all day long. but as soon as I choose text it drops down to allow me just enough time to see the fields to choose or enter then it closes.
In the bottom right corner I have clicked the tick to turn ON filters and it opens the drop down, then it immediately closes back. I went into preferences and told it to reset library filter presets and it seemed to fix it for ONE time then it was back again.
Is there a setting I am missing somewhere? what do I do to fix this annoying problem. if I am able to actually paste something into the keyword spot quickly enough it immediately filters for that word then reverts to OFF and they go away.
What am I doing wrong.
