I was talking to a friend of mine and we were discussing the need for a backup body for shoots. I was lamenting that I only had a Reble for abackup and I couldn't fire my lights with my Cybersyncs with the rebel if my 40D goes down because it doesn't have a PC input. I have been hooking up the trnsmitter to the 40D on the hotshoe and then plugging in the cord fro the transmitter on the Cybersync into the PC port on my 40D. I thought you had to.
I am happy to find out that you don't need that at all unless you are planing on having the camera fire remotely. I feel like a moron. All this time I thought you needed bothe the hotshoe and the cord! You don't. Good news but just make me feel stupid!
