We are fortunate to have resident family of Harriers nearby, but they rarely fly close enough for a decent shot. It was nice to have one fly overhead for a change.

Very nice Scott. I was actually down at our wetlands, looking for some of these the other day. Shouldn't they be headed South by now?

Normally they head south Mitch, but some have been know to over-winter around here if the conditions are good. They are pretty hardy birds. Apparently they cant punch through the snow like the owls can though.
