i usually take pics of my kids in deck hockey but figured I would walk over to the football game.
Never took pics of football and I know they are not great.. but still just to share...

I was looking at the pic and noticed how this guy tucked the ball nicely but then noticed the guy flat on his face...

Some short circuit action on Monday turned into a bit of a nightmare for the riders as the track temperature was hovering just above zero most of the day. Unfortunately the front tyres of many riders couldn't provide the necessary grip and there was a few fallers. No serious injuries thankfully.

Yeah, it hurts to see them getting smashed up. :)
Most were back up and running for the second races later in the afternoon after replacing some of the plastics. The riders may have been battered and bruised, but its all in a days racing to these guys.

That punch looks like it would have hurt the person giving it too, as it looks like it connected with only the right two knuckles.

One of the perils of bareknuckle fighting, though fatigue probably played a part with the sloppy technique. These girls put on the fight of the tournament - went to two extensions and the ref had to make a call at the end. The corner judges had them drawn through all three rounds.

I was more enthralled with all the blood on her uniform. It makes it look pretty crazy.
