monitor calibration tools

I was thinking about picking up a monitor calibration kit. I looked at the Spyder 3 Pro. How is that compared to other brands (which I do not know of yet) and how effectively does it work? And how complicated is it to operate? If anyone has any experience of knowledge it would be highly appreciated! =D

I'm happy with the results on my HP LP2065.

Seems quite comprehensive and, imo, it is easy to use.

I recommend it.

thanks! have you downloaded the utlity for it or just the normal calibration software? is the utility useful?
