G9 VS G10 macro function switch speed question

Hi,


I was trying out my G10's Macro mode today and I happened to notice that when I press the button which brings up the flower and mountain symbols and I switch to the flower for macro mode it takes appeciably longer for the macro mode to come up that it does when performing the same proceedure on my G9. Do I have a faulty G10 or has anyone else noticed that the G10 is slower at this then the G9?

i dont have a G9, nor have i ever used one...
but my G10 switches between Macro and Infinity instantly. faster than my old SD600
