I was on the Lake Guardian a couple of years ago on Lake Erie. This was taken at Put-in-Bay, Ohio. For those of you who know about the islands, all I can say is that scientists know how to party!

This is a scan of an picture I took with my old Elan 7. This is the NOAA Ship Fairweather. The picture was taken in the Shumagin Islands Alaska. I was on her for 2 weeks as part of NOAA's Teacher at Sea program.

Shhhhh........I was trying to smuggle cheap crude home!

I almost got it back to Connecticut, but the TSA confiscated it while changing from International-to-Domestic at PHL, as I had more than 100ml of it in my 3-1-1 bag.......damn!:lol:

.........it was stuffed in my carry-on. They did manage to lose the uranium I brought home as a souvenir.....but it was in my checked baggage.
