Aloha, welcome to Honolulu's POTN Hale(house).

The first thread I started was for a meeting to get to know each other and photograph a landmark. It is also the center of discussion and is increasing in size. I started this thread so I can link all the meetings we have and continue on with general chatting without increasing our photograph threads.

This thread is not restricted to Honolulu POTN members, so everyone is welcome to chat whenever you want. We have exceeded 10K posts and was transferred to our current thread. Here is the Honolulu POTN Hale's original thread.

The threads to our meetings are linked below:

Chrisblaze, I was actually looking to see who built their flash website strictly on their own using flash cs3/cs4 and wrote their own actionscript. I've got a decent understanding of flash cs4, but i wanted to see how much actionscript i would have to learn to make a full flash site. the only problem with doing that is the lack of html to be tagged by search engines. i may just end up making a flash introduction and using dreamweaver to build a html site. possibly use iframes to enclose everything.

whoa why a new thread?!

I read in another thread that when a thread reaches 10,000 posts the mods will lock it and start a new thread for active posting...makes it easier on the servers or something like that.

Congrats on 10K posts, the Honolulu Hale is pumping! I did notice no threads going beyond 10K. Some was actually moved to a different section.

Wendo - Awesome shots as usual. With your exacto technical mindset, I can imagine the time it takes for you to make one card.

The EOH meet's guest speaker is a PJ and it was very interesting. She had to sell herself when she moved to Hawaii, but had credentials prior to coming working for NY Times and various media companies. She graduated with a PJ degree.
