Two, DIY softboxes (shoeboxes coverted to softboxes). It was challenging to get the lighting because of the reflective surfaces of the bottle caps.

WCC definitely works for me. 5 minutes from home .

Yeah, too bad I get no photo credit anywhere. Plus I hate looking at that big West O'ahu banner they put up with the graduates on it--I didn't do a good job on that one so all these little nitpicks bother me every time I see it. I do save most of the stuff with my pics on it to add it to my imaginary portfolio.

I can imagine--photographing knives is always a pain in the ass with all the reflections. Thanks for the info.

bummer, I can't make it unless y'all stay late cause I work on Saturdays now . I'm really interested in the strobe stuff since I'm just getting my feet wet myself. Hope y'all have a good one, and I look forward to seeing your works .
