wendo, wanna let me borrow your 600 for a football game then? haha!

Yes! BUT........I'm going to have to charge you a horrendous fee of ONE big smile and a FIVE pump handshake with a Obama fist bump and a George Jefferson style side/side-up/down hand slap to seal the deal.;)

lol, this whole time i thought it was phocalprobe...
yea , looked like it was a very fun game.. and they played hard huh.. you can see the sweat splattering off when he got hit
1 question tho, if you dont mind me asking.... do you give the pictures out to the parents and kids for free?

Pics were given out but only those featured in the slide show that I got asked to make because the league hired a photog to shoot league games and I wanted to make sure I didn't take money out of his pocket. Also, I assured the photog that I would not sell or give out any other photo's of our team's games that he and I shot on the same day as a courtesy. However, parents on the board did ask me to make the slide show for the season ending banquet, so it wasn't like I was purposely trying to take business away from the photog.

Does the name "phocalphobe" have a certain meaning?

:) Chris

Nope it was pulled out of thin air while I was in the act of registering into this forums.

Congrats on 10K posts, the Honolulu Hale is pumping! I did notice no threads going beyond 10K. Some was actually moved to a different section.

Wendo - Awesome shots as usual. With your exacto technical mindset, I can imagine the time it takes for you to make one card.

The EOH meet's guest speaker is a PJ and it was very interesting. She had to sell herself when she moved to Hawaii, but had credentials prior to coming working for NY Times and various media companies. She graduated with a PJ degree.

Yeah, it's like I'm aware that everything I produce speaks to the quality of work I expect out of myself, and what can be expected from me if I do get hired for a private shoot. So I try to give most projects my best shot, which, ain't much, but it's all I got.;)

i'm a canon gear junkie..........i..... need....help............toward buying me more canon gear

this was one the the last pieces of steel to be removed from ground zero. to think it once was part of the tallest buildings in the country. ground zero really left an impression on me.

Nice! your 35 is being used to it's full potential.

Nate - It's great to see you traveling. The whole incident at ground zero is just too horrible for what happened to the victims, rescuers, and the people that cleaned up the mess.

Cool, so does this new thread officially mean that we spend more time on the boards than taking photos? ;)

Nice shots with the 5D + 35mm f/2. Makes me think of getting one for myself! I can see how it's not sharp like the 35L but then again, i can't afford it now.

Do you have family to watch or will it be daycare? Got my daughter at Kama'aina Kids. They charge $960/mo for infants.

Right now we have both grandma's and maybe part time at Tracy Ifuku LLC, my wife's old friend from Early Intervention

Mike - the 35mm looks like a good focal range for portrait, nice!

Here is a sunset taken at Pier 38 while waiting...

Ishida - Was waiting for a friend to shoot his car.

Tommy - Little PP with LR2, but the colors were already vivid.
