UGH!!! Took my best "non-kyllie" photo yet and I can't post it!!!!!!!

Thanks a ton to Norris for helping me out tonight! Due to an accident that took out a utility pole, Komo Mai Dr. was closed for a few hours and I didn't get home till a bit after midnight. To top it off, half way through editing the picture, PS crashed and I lost all the work.:( Still, I'm very happy with the result.

Anyone have a 135L or 70-200 2.8 IS they'd be willing to let me borrow for a photoshoot? I'm debating between the two, and would really like to test them out first. Otherwise I might go rent one.

Thanks!

There's a few things that I don't like, but am happy with the end result.

Nice lighting, good use of natural and strobe light, why not shoot with the 5D? btw, did you have to get permission to shoot at the park, heard that it is mandatory now for "commercial, wedding, event" type...

I didn't have the 5D when I shot this. ANd no, I didn't have permission. I'm not shooting commercially. I know I can be hassled for having a lot of equipment, but if it ever came down to it I don't think I'd have a problem.

John, Second one looks nice. the first one you have leaves 'floating' into frame. i would like to see a full length shot. that would be the winner. hehe. still nice light!
