Hmm, the airshow website says that not only does your camera bag have to by smaller than 8"by 8", any camera equipment you bring has to be able to fit in a bag of that size also!

I'm not sure if they'll be stringent about that, but if so, that pretty much rules out any lens bigger than a 28-135!!!

Licoln where is a good place to take pictures of the Tbirds?

I was thinking of Keehi Lagoon Park or Sand Island, but might be too far unless Wendo Shows up with the 600 :D

I don't think I have a bag that size.

Here's two pics from their survey flight. It's not easy tracking these guys.

Walked around UH today and met Alan, Shan, and John. John, Shan and my family all went to school at Aiea. I actually met John before and he's good friends with my brother. Small island.

Click for slide show.

I may try Lagoon Dr tomorrow if they practice.

Anybody know where show center is?

The next practice is on Friday.

There is a building behind that newer airport food court where Starbucks is located. Follow the road on the Starbucks side and drive up the ramp to the top of the parking lot. I think that will be an excellent location.

How about meeting there Friday during their practice run at starting at 3:30?

3:30 or 3:00? The FAA site you linked has 3:00 - 4:00.

Thanks, I am guessing it is the building of CTA Staffing, unless they are not there anymore... there is a starbucks and jamba juice and L&L I think. Never been to the top parking lot.

That's the place, but they're long gone. Mike Simpson makes big money working for the gov now.
