I'm more than willing to rent this lens out from anyone willing, and even provide my 17-40L as collateral until your lens is returned to alleviate any worries. Surf is projected to be 20-40 foot faces, and I don't want to miss out like last year. I've already checked lens rentals on island and there is nothing available. The mid-level clouds moved in an hour before sunset and obscured everything! However, due to the appearance of a moondog tonight, I know there are tons of high clouds over the island right now. I'm betting either sunrise or sunset (or both) is going to be sick in the next day or 3. Not to mention that full moon occurs tomorrow as well. Keep those cameras on you!
