Just wanted to let everyone know about about the HPF @ BYUH Lighting Meet since I know not all the POTN guys get over to HPF:

Date: March 19, 2011
Location: BYU Hawaii Campus (<--click for map); Building #16 on map--"Aloha Center Ballroom"
Time: 9:00am-5:00pm

We should have plenty of equipment to see--lots of lighting, modifiers, etc. so hope to see everyone there.

Most of the members of that forum (including me) live on the island of O'ahu. They're a great bunch of photog's with varying degrees of experience.

Headed to Maui on Sunday and was wondering if anyone had any good spots/hikes I should check out while I'm there. I'm looking for pure nature/landscape shots. This will be my 7th trip there (I'm 10 years kama'aina), so not the typical spots that most people know about. I have no problem doing serious hiking.

Dont forget to go to MT Haleakala (THe Largest dormant Volcanoe), beautiful views specially for sunrise and sunset.

Oh yeah, does anyone know where I can buy a 4x4 or 4x5 inch 3 stop or greater ND filter on Oahu? I've found a rental, but if I can buy one, that would be even better. Thanks in advance.
