My intent was to take a picture of my daughter everyday, but had to fix my wife's car. By the time I was done, my daughter was sleeping. When the project is done, I wanted to make a .gif/slideshow and see how she's changed in a year.

The rest on my flicker... Haven't been there since they re-opened--any noticeable differences? Did you actually see any whales out there? Every time I go out there I feel like the wind's going to blow me off the cliff and I'm pretty heavy. stu46 wrote in post #6986781 Doing a 365 challenge on another forum and figure it's a good time to try some different things. ![]() I like the lighting--how did you light it? Think I would've liked it better without the tag.

SB-28 in my DIY softbox at 1/64 Placed a piece of glass from a cheap frame and put the Tequila on it Black corpolast for the BG White foam core above ISO100 f/8 1/200" Thanks for the setup. I saw this thing a long time ago that I've been meaning to try forever--you use a piece of glass on the bottom like you did, but you lay down something or paint it but leave a hole underneath the bottle and you light it from the bottom. I never had anything interesting to light since I don't drink--don't think a bottle of water would make an interesting subject.

Shon - would a background light help separate more the subject? I was thinking doing something similar with another bottle of alcohol... will see... If I were to do it again, I would use a snoot/grid and possibly some kind of diffuser. I'd fire it top down or 90deg left or right to light the cork. I think the shadows look better if they were to fall on the BG.
