I'll be there for roughly a week.
I'm landing in frankfurt, then heading to Munich. From there we plan on going to Dachau, Neuschwansteincastle, the museums, BMW and Mercedes museums.

we also plan on visiting Innsbruck, Prague and a small town in Poland, whos name eludes me.

My question, is there anything I MUST see? Is anyone from any of these places? I have a mobile number i can share with you if you'd like to suggest something to me. You can reply in this thread or PM me also.

thanks in advance.

Hi - Been twice this year, not to the destinations you plan to visit, but did land at Munich and Frankfurt.
Found the German people great. Very reserved and formal though, but very welcoming and extremely efficient.
The autobahns are brill for racking up the long distances, 200kph is a breeze.
We visited Nuremburg and a few other cities near the Danube. Theres some fabulous architecture and statues to photograph, so take plenty of memory cards.

Visited Neuschwanstein way back in the mid 1970s and the memories of it lingered for a very long time. Breathtaking location surrounding the most increadible monument to self agrandizement you're ever likely to see...

Hope you have a great trip.

I'm here now, down further south in a village called Spaichingen.
Roughly 2 hours from Munich, BEAUTIFUL country side all around here with spectacular views where ever you are.
Only problem with the time now, is the weather. Rain, snow, overcast then somedays beautiful blue skies and green grass. If you can, get out and see the smaller villages, always close by, very beautiful to see how people live in the smaller places. The town I am in now is only 12,000 people.

Have fun, sounds like a killer trip!

Take a jacket!

No really you need to take a cogwheel train up into the Alps if you get a clear day. The scenery is unbelievable.
