Does any G-Series take HD video?

I'm sure I read somewhere that the new 5DMkII was not the only Canon to record video in HD, and that the new G-Series camera also recorded in this format?

Can anyone please verify this - and if it doesn't, did I just get the model wrong?

None of the G series do I'm afraid - you're probably thinking of the SX1 IS which does (full HD at 1920*1080).
