Ok, maybe not stars but in the studio haha..
Gina contacted me about doing some portfolio pictures for her Dance school, so we hit up the studio and had some fun.
We did alot of simple, white seamless stuff. But i decided to try somethings and she was totally up for it. Here's one.
I also played with this one a little more in post then i did the orders.

(click on picture to see the others ive uploaded so far)

This is a 1 light setup, a AB800 in a huge Octabox

We did some 4light, alot of 3 light and then we brought out the Ringflash as well..

Please feel free to CC!!!!!! I need it.

I REALLY like it. Love how you used the light and the processing really works with the dancer's costume/background. It's extremely dramatic and I expect it looks fantastic IRL. Nice job.

the background looks quite disctractive to me, yet the curtains could be wider, or maybe the model in a diferent ungle. she could be leaning tower the rigth side of the cortains. I like who the ligth and processing work well with the dancer and background, but maybe she could be holding the cortains, or she could lean backwards next to the curtain rather that in front of it.

Beautiful shot. I love the lighting as well. On a side note, that pose can not be comfortable! I couldn't imagine having all of my weight on my toes.

I have a few others where i had her "lean" into the curtain, with a different pose. Ill give those an edit and see how they turn out.

This is what she does. She goes to school for it and has done it all her life so it comes a little more nature to her.

Alot of explaining, and communication has to go on to get it just right. haha and alot of "Give me one more"...

Only for a few seconds. Just enough time where her body is where we need it to be, i snap then she relaxes.

Alot of explaining, planning and communication has to go on to get it just right. haha and alot of "Give me one more"...

Lets just say at the end of the shoot, shes ready for a nap. But shes a champ and just AMAZING.
