Took this HDR a few weeks ago and I like how it turned out, but would really like to know how to cleanly get rid of the sky/leaf reflection in the windshield. Any help? Comments?

In photoshop, carefully mask the reflection (do not forget to leave the wipers out of the mask) and create a new layer with the reflection on it.
With the same mask, copy some leaves similar to those that appear through the rear right window and align them below the reflection layer.
Set the opacity of the reflection to something like 25%, this restores the glare of the windshield above the ‘new’ foliage.
To be more realistic, clone the right door borders, scale-down and darken a little to create the right window.

Better results will be obtained with the full size image, but I think that the correction works, and it was easier the correction than the written description.

Good luck

Nice Bug. You don't see many of those anymore. There was one here for sale a few weeks for $10,000. It sold which amazed me.

politsr, that looks great! thanks, i'll give that a shot.

and canon, thanks. but $10k? that's insane, i've rarely seen fully restored bugs go for more than 7 or so. and i paid much less than that, it's my daily!

I laughed when I heard the price. I've bought them back in the 70's for $600. :)

The best thing to do is use a polarizing filter when you take the picture (for next time). ;)

Leave it because it makes the photo cool!
It can only happen on those flat windshields...
