Partial Sunset

17-55 f/2.8 IS
ISO 1600, f/10, 1/4 second

The sky was red during yesterday's sunset so I came hoping for a repeat today. No such luck. The clouds blocked the sun, but I did get some nice reflections on the water.

It was also interesting to see because the water level would usually be about 10 feet above my head in the spot where I am standing. I can't remember the last time I was able to walk so far out.

nice colors on the water...but composition can be improved further...
I would really like to get rid of that thing on the left...

Nice shot, I agree with Avi though I think it wold have been better if you could have zoomed in a little more or moved closer to the object on the left to get it out of frame.

Sorry guys, but I went out of my way to get that into the frame. I'll probably even go back and get a few more while the water is so low.
I've got plenty of pictures of that bridge on it's own.

I can see your point about keeping it in the shot but I just don't know if the composition works too good here. If you are going back maybe try some different compositions with it, let us see what you get.
