Wow!

222 views not one comment.

I wonder what is the record for most views and no comments on a post.

Anyone know. Maybe I can get the record.

You lost as you commented on your own thread :D

As for the shots, I dont like the radical contrast between the model and the background jmo.

So to make sure I understand your critique, you don't ever like dark skin subjects shot on white backgrounds? Is that what you are saying?

I did not make a blanket statement, I only commented on the posted shots.

The lighting on both of these is OUTSTANDING as is the exposure and white balance. I love the way the hand is posed in the first image. Lots of times poeple pose the hand that way and there is no ring nor are the fingernails done up nicely, which begs the question, why pose the hand that way then! I wish her torso were not turned so far away from the camera, and that she had not slumped over a little.

Image 2 is OK but the "L" shape to her upper body is rather static.

The treatment of the background in both of these is well done. Her clothing is mostly high key so the high key background is acceptable.

I think both images are very good. I find one to be the better image. Everything works well in it and I echo the comments on the hand.

Nice clean shots and great lighting. I think the white background is great.
