This is probably my favorite people photo so far; really genuine moment captured. Can really tell a lot from the shot of the bond between mother and son.

This would have to be one of my top favorites. Here's a little back story. He has beaten the odds and we just found out yesterday that he will not be needing open heart surgery next year. This was taken w/ my old 40D and 85 f/1.8. This is actually a quick snapshot.

Not sure about 'favorite' but I find this photo I took in Bali most 'hang-worthy':

This is actually the 2nd ever long exposure shot I squeezed off. Surprisingly it has more meaning to me since the 2 tiny people under the little structure is actually my parents. I didn't plan it that way (couldn't see anyone under the structure from where I was standing) but if you zoom in real close you'll see they are holding hands.

I love that photo, Ken! Definitely hang-worthy. Did you use GND-filters or was the sand just really well lit?

The sand in the foreground was conveniently lit by a tungsten street light... :)

Thanks, appreciate the comments.

It was the last night in Singapore

12pm and a little rain, at least there weren't many people around which is rare!

Not my best picture by far, but the first one I ever had someone say "can I buy that", always remained my favorite.
