My favorites are the ones i had to work for

Like this

Years of waiting to get it all to fall into place, weeks of asking for permission, 30 mins of setting up the rig on the bonnet.

IMAGE: http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m150/Echo63/Motorsport/98166b22.jpg

Or this one - lots of trying over and over to get the right hand positions so faces weren't blocked
And picking up popcorn over and over again
(you should have seen the looks on everyone's faces when i said "we are going to throw popcorn at each other", the kids looked thrilled, and the adults horrified)

There is a few others I really like too, but these two are the only ones in my photobucket

One of my first I took when I learned manual. Just a few minutes after a tantrum and the only place I could find that didn't have direct sunlight at a botanical garden on a hot day. I just love the color of the eyes and the neat pattern the chair makes behind her.

This picture: something about the angle of the car and light... still my favorite.

FlyingPhotog, that F4 shot is sick! I was sad to hear they weren't doing the airshow last year, are they back on yet? I loved hanging out all day out there with a tele, hard to go wrong. Some of the best shots came when the pilots head out for home, they all did burnouts over the busses.

Fav pic for me, any of my kid

right now, this one. for years i had been fascinated with NYC, and i finally got a chance to go. the Rock was on my must do list. I panicked when i got to the ticket window and the line was super long. I thought for sure i'd miss all the good light. after going through security, numerous lines, a couple elevators and an escalator, i made it to the top.... where a 100+ more people were. found a spot, held the camera up in the air over everyone's head (tripods not allowed, thank god for being 6'5") and came away with this. wish i could post it in full size without fear of it getting stolen. the detail is amazing. it's one of those pictures that takes you back.

it's pretty awesome to watch the progress of the new wtc from everyone's photos. 2 years ago it was only as tall as the other buildings in lower manhattan. last year it was definitely something big, and even earlier this year it was full height but obviously unfinished. i'll go back soon and get shots of it finished :)

good stuff
