Dont know much about macro lenses but after using this one in the store i felt i needed to buy it

It's a great lens and one of my favorites for sure. Great for portraits and macro.

Congratulations. You will be constantly amazed at how sharp this lens is. Only downside is that since it's a macro lens and the focus mechanism is so sensitive, it takes a little more time to focus.

I've owned this lens for over a year now and love it! Sharp, sharp, sharp!!! Good portrait work as well.
