Dave....I just looked at what your shot is from. Nice!! Don Quixote is one of my favorite stories/characters. The silly books have a lot to offer us about life, much of which is very easy to forget these days. You are right the gilding is amazing on that cover. You simply do not find that sort of craftsmanship anymore. What a nice treasure for your collection.

It cost me a pretty penny as well ;-)a They are beautiful books!

As it's title indicated it is a macro image of data as stored on a DVD...with a little help from light reflected from a window...

excellent idea!! And a clever title for sure...I tried and tried to use the title in connection with the shot and while a cd/dvd came to mind I never connected the rainbow effect. Thanks for solving that puzzle. I am gonna have to try that one out too...
