Does it incorporate itself with Windows shell? I don't want to have to open a program to look at my thumbnails... I just want to quickly open a folder on my desktop and look at thumbnails like I can with my 20D photos. Nov 30, 2008 09:24 | #9 After reading this thread, I was able to make it work by (1) removing useless MS raw thumbnail viewer; (2) installing latest Canon Raw codec (3) installing Arcsoft raw thumbnail viewer. Now I can see thumbnails of CR2 files in Explorer. BTW my default program to open them is IrfanView, it's very quick & excellent for reviewing files and doing some very basic adjustments. Ex-Canon shooter. Now Sony Nex.
