I'm very pleased with my G2. Also the Zoombrowser program is not too bad. But I prefer to use my own Delphi written database to store the images and the information on the images.
Zoombrowser does present shutterspeed, date and time, etc of the images and stores it in its own database. I'm looking for a way to export this database to any normal accessable database like dbase, Acces, ASCII or whatever.
I asked Canon, they answered there is no way to export the database.
Does any one of you have a conversion-program or the structure of the zoombrowser-database so I write the converter myself.

Many thanks,

Joep

You might have to pull the EXIF data straight out of your JPG's again and into your own database. (seeing as zoombrowser pulls the image information from the .jpg itself anyway.)

Perhaps this pdf file will help you out in that aspect, it's all the details of the EXIF format and how those image details are stored within the .jpg files themselves... perhaps you can write a program taht will strip just the image details from each .jpg file(resolution, shutter speed, exposure etc.)
