So I thought I'd have a go at one of those project 365 things. You know, the ones where you have to take a photo every day for a year? I've no idea whether I'll be able to keep it going but I'm going to have a bash at it, it can only be good for my photography, right? Anyway, I've set up a website where I'll be posting my images every day so if you feel like it, feel free to add it to your favourites and check back on it from January. Thanks guys.

Good luck with it. The first few weeks are easy, its the next few months that are the killer. If you survive the first few months you'll finish.
Best of British to you :)

Thanks, I appreciate it. Like I said, whether I'll actually manage it or not I don't know but I'll have a go!

I've added a guestbook. Not there's anything on the site to comment on or anything yet but hey, it's there anyway. :D

good luck.
I was proud of myself when I made a New Years resolution to never make another New Years resolution as it was the first I ever kept.

Haha! That would be the easiest one to keep I suppose. :D

I've put up today's photo.

If anyone happens to have a look at the site could you tell me a couple of things? Firstly, when you go into the album for January, is the first photo showing up? Also, are the pages loading really slowly for everyone else cause they are for me.

Cheers guys.

Well, I'm still going strong. Haven't got as many landscape images as I thought I would by this stage but hey, it's winter in Scotland which means it's cold and dark when I get home from work. Just means I have to get more creative indoors.

I haven't actually asked yet, but what does everyone think of the site? Is there anything you think I should change about it?

You could tell us if that abstract is a bunch of straws with a light being shone through them towards the camera....

It looks fine ATM. Some rather boring shots, some exceptional shots too.

Perhaps the title pics could be made smaller, it takes up a lot of the page's real estate which means the user is forced to scroll to get to the meat of the site. (imagine someone using an 800x600 res for this page!!)

Also, the comments are in reverse order. If you could fix that up easily it would be worth doing....

Carry on !!

Thanks for your input man. Yeah, I know some shots are better than others. Some days I don't really feel like it and that probably shows in the images. As a matter of interest which did you like and dislike?

I think I'm going to change the title picture, I'll probably do that tonight after work. As for the comments, I don't think I can change that unfortunately. It's done on webs.com and it's a template. There are certain things you can change about the layout etc but I don't think I can alter the comments. I'll have another look later though.

Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment.
