I'd like to hear more from you guys who recently went from a crop camera to a used 5D classic. This is what I'm trying to do but I'm not convinced if the IQ improvement will worth the extra ~$700 (given I could sell my 30D for $500 and I can score a used 5D for $1200).
Also would the sigma 50mm prime worth the extra money over the canon 50 f/1.4 on a 5D?

I have the same question too, I am struggling to buy a used 5d or buy a super wide angle lens.I have 24-105L on 40D. $700 for the lens or camera.
What should I do?
