Hey guys,

the other day I spent a load of cash (B&H order - still awaiting shipment) on wireless lighting for an upcoming wedding shoot (portraits). I've got a month to sort out the technical aspects of the system. I'm using the vivitar with flashzebra voltage adapter and elinchrom skyports. I've never handled this equipment before so I'm basing my order off of internet research. I can't afford any lost time in case my order is incomplete and I'm missing an adapter.

I want to connect:

[Vivitar 285HV] to [flash zebra adapter] to [Skyport receiver]

I'm not even certain how the receiver traditionally wires in to the flash itself. Am I missing an adapter somewhere in this chain?

I'm worried that I require one of these:

... but I read that this is an "ebay adapter" and rather flimsy. If I do need one of these, I'm really hoping there is a more durable product available on the market! :|

This is all you need.

It has the special vivitar connection that plugs straight into your flash.

awesome! Thank you, David. I ordered the adapter and I was really worried I'd still be short a cable once everything had shipped. Wish such a short deadline to complete and learn my system, time is really of the essence! You've really taken the worry away - thank you so much.
