I purchased the Canon 50mm 1.4 and when I opened the package I noticed the following. With both caps on the lens, while hold the lens in one hand and gently moving the hand back and forth I can hear hear a rattle. Is this normal?

No rattle in mine.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

It is the barrel moving slightly. It appears to work fine, I'm just concerned about a necessary repair down the road. I really like the lens. What would you do - Is the QUESTION
