It rained on the way home, and the clouds parted for only a few minutes. Here's my rather pathetic attempt, Sigma 75/300, f5.0, 8 second exposure, manual focus, on a tripod. It's about 35 degrees F outside. I took about 20 or so exposures, but noticed that the longer I had the shutter open, the more "flare" I got from the moon. I played around with different f-stops but none turned out very well...This is about the best one.
